Jamie Miles

Jamie Miles has extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as Engineering Manager at Avara Foods since March 2017, where previous roles included Engineering Section Manager, Lead Engineer, and Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer. Prior to this, Jamie served as an Aeronautical Engineer in the Royal Air Force from April 2009 to June 2017, specializing in fault diagnosis and various systems including propulsion, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems. Jamie's earlier experience includes a role as Officer Support Grade with HM Prison Service. Jamie holds a CMI Diploma Level 7 in Strategic Management and Leadership from Exponential and an NVQ in Aeronautical Engineering from DCAE Cosford, along with multiple certifications in Lean Management Techniques and Equality and Diversity. Currently, Jamie is pursuing a Foundation degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at the University of Staffordshire.
