Matthew Howes

Matthew Howes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matthew is currently employed by AvaSure as a Customer Care Manager, where they provide leadership and support to a team of technicians in a 24/7 call center environment. Previously, Matthew worked at Peckham, Inc. as a Help Desk Supervisor, overseeing the organization's vocational rehabilitation programs. Matthew also has experience in the telecommunications industry, having held the role of Retention Supervisor at Charter Communications and serving as a Retention Customer Service Representative and Senior CSR. Matthew has also worked in education, teaching computer science and technology courses as an Adjunct Professor at ITT Technical Institute-Wyoming. Additionally, they have experience as a Team Leader and Company Owner in their own multimedia installation contracting business. Matthew also worked as a Substitute Teacher, specializing in special needs and media production programs, and as an Associate TV-5 Producer for Grand Haven Area Public Schools. Matthew began their professional career as an intern at Vince Deur Productions and RCP Marketing, gaining experience in video production and editing.

Matthew Howes received their Bachelor's degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from Ferris State University, where they attended from 1997 to 2002. In addition, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include certifications in Goal Setting: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Customer Service: Working in a Customer Contact Center, Compassionate Directness, HDI Support Center Analyst (HDI), PMP® Exam Prep Course, ITIL Foundation Level, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), CompTIA Security+, Mental Health First Aid, and Certification Adult CPR/AED, Child CPR, and First Aid. These certifications were obtained from various institutions such as LinkedIn, HDI, Brain Sensei, AXELOS Global Best Practice, Microsoft, CompTIA, the National Council for Behavioral Health, and the Red Cross Blood Services.
