Melvin Xavier

Melvin Xavier has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology and creative fields. Melvin is currently working at Avataar as the Associate Director of Platform Delivery. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager of Platform Delivery at the same company. Before joining Avataar, Melvin worked at Embibe as a Lead 3D Artist. Melvin also had a role as an AR VR Consultant at Nolku. Melvin has extensive experience in the field of virtual reality and augmented reality, having worked as an AR VR consultant at Nolku Pvt Ltd and as a Lead PreSales/R&D AR VR/3D Artist at Xarpie Labs. Melvin started their career as a 3D Artist at Mayaxis and later worked as a 3D Modeller and Texture Artist at Atman Software. Melvin also has experience in sales management as an Institution Sales Manager at Asipac Projects Pvt Ltd. In addition, they have worked as a Senior Executive in Technical Recruitment and as a Brand Builder at IonIdea.

Melvin Xavier has a degree in game art from Bangalore University. Melvin studied 3ds max, zbrush, photoshop, and maya during their time there. Prior to that, they attended St. Joseph's Indian High School from 1996 to 1999. In 2014, they obtained a certification from Digital Tutors.
