Jeff Ting

Jeff Ting is an experienced professional with a diverse background in academia and finance. Currently an Adjunct Professor at the New York Institute of Technology, Jeff teaches various electrical engineering courses, including Computer Architecture and Control Systems. As a Proprietary Trader at Avatar Securities, LLC since 2010, Jeff executes a self-developed trading system in the US equity markets. Previously, Jeff was a singer/songwriter and music manager for Mayday Radio, recognized for achievements such as being featured in the Huffington Post. Additional roles include being the Owner and Lead Designer at Redshift Web Solutions, a Proprietary Trader at Atlas Trading, and an Electrical Design Engineer at Texas Instruments, where Jeff contributed to the development of Arc Fault Circuit Breakers for Boeing aircraft. Jeff holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Cornell University.
