Tom Shehab

Tom Shehab is the current chairperson at Avation Medical. Prior to this, they were the chairman at Michigan Venture Capital Association from January 2018 to January 2020. Tom has also held positions at SonarMD, Aira, nVision Medical, Pear Therapeutics, and ArborMetrix. Tom was the chief medical officer at Lucina Health and a board member at Arboretum Ventures.

Tom Shehab has a BS from Bowling Green State University, an MD from Wayne State University, and did their Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Michigan Medical School. Tom then did a Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Michigan, followed by a Chief Medical Resident position at the same school. Tom is now a Medical Manager at Carnegie Mellon University.
