Dmitry Ulyanov has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of computer vision, deep learning, and software engineering. Dmitry has also held positions at Samsung R&D Institute & AI Center Russia, where they worked as a Leading Engineer and developed an AR/VR full-body telepresence method using neural networks. Dmitry also created a system for real-time rendering of 3D scenes and point clouds. As a Senior Data Scientist at Dbrain, Dmitry developed an image enhancement system based on Convolutional Neural Networks and led a team in developing an OCR system for national passports.
Prior to these roles, Dmitry worked as a Research Scientist at Yandex, where they created and open-sourced technology used in stylization apps like Prisma and Vinci. Dmitry also developed a core technology for the website likemo.net. During their time as a Software Engineering Intern at Google, Dmitry explored convolutional neural networks for the speaker verification problem, which led to accuracy improvements.

Dmitry Ulyanov has a strong education background in the field of computer science, specifically focusing on computer vision and machine learning. Dmitry earned their Master's degree in Machine Learning from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in the years 2010-2015.
