Heidi Hess Saxton

Heidi Hess Saxton is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in acquisitions and editorial leadership within the religious publishing sector. Currently serving as a Senior Acquisitions Editor at Sophia Institute Press since August 2024 and at Ave Maria Press since January 2017, Heidi has a proven track record in developing and acquiring trade books, particularly in Catholic spirituality and family resources. Previous roles include Editorial Director at Servant Books/Franciscan Media and Ascension Press, where responsibilities encompassed product development and content strategy for educational programs. As the founder and editor of the Extraordinary Moms Network, Heidi also advocated for adoptive and special needs families. Heidi holds a Master's degree in Theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary, alongside undergraduate degrees in International Studies/Communications and Missions/Theology.
