Andrew Donaldson

Andrew Donaldson has extensive work experience in various roles within the biotechnology and chemical industries. Andrew began their career at Avecia as an Engineering & Plant Management roles in 1992 and held a Senior Process Engineer position from 1999 to 2001. Andrew then transitioned to a Venture Manager role from 2001 to 2003. Andrew continued their career at Avecia Biotechnology, where they served as an International Supply Manager from 2003 to 2006. Andrew then took on the role of Senior Project Manager at Avecia Biotechnology Inc from 2006 to 2007. Andrew joined Nitto Denko Avecia Inc in 2008 and held the position of Senior Project Manager until 2012, where they were promoted to Senior Project Manager / Business Manager - Stability till 2014. Later, they became the Associate Director Project Management from 2014 to 2018 before being promoted to their current role as Senior Director Business Development.

Andrew Donaldson completed their education at the University of Cambridge from 1987 to 1991, earning a MEng degree in Chemical Engineering. In 1999, they obtained the certifications of CEng from the Engineering Council and MIChemE from the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). Later, from 2002 to 2004, they attended the University of Warwick - WMG and received a Post Experience Certificate in Process Business Management. In 2017, they obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
