Michael Lawler B.Des

Michael Lawler B.Des has had a varied and successful career in design engineering. In 2017, they began working as a Senior Design Engineer for CMC Hygea Ltd, where they were responsible for designing medical devices using Solidworks, 3D printing designs, testing, and material selection. Michael then moved to DC FABRICATIONS in 2019 as a Design Engineer. In 2021, they joined DPF Engineering as a Design Engineer, and in 2022 they became a Senior Design Engineer at Avectas and an Industrial Design Engineer at Metaltech Engineering. In 2009, they began their career as the Director of Design and Business Development at VascoCare Medical Limited, where they were responsible for designing and developing medical devices, managing staff, and directing marketing and sales.

Michael Lawler B.Des has an extensive education history. Michael holds a Batchelor of Design Degree from the National College of Art & Design in Industrial Design Engineering. Michael also holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Limerick in Industrial and Product Design. Additionally, they hold a National Certificate from the Institute of Technology, Carlow. In 2018, they obtained a Certificate from DID Dublin in Revit/BIM. Michael also holds certifications in Industrial Design and Solidworks from Apple.
