Dietrich Drenkow has held a variety of roles in the aviation industry since 2005. Dietrich began their career at Delta Air Lines as a Powerplant Engineer, where they were responsible for establishing technical programs and managing day-to-day technical issues for the aircraft in the area of Main Engines and APU's. Dietrich then moved to Sun Country Airlines in 2011, where they held the role of Powerplant Engineer, responsible for establishing technical programs and managing day-to-day technical issues for the aircraft in the area of Main Engines (CFM56-7B) and APU's (131-9B). In 2013, they joined Advantage Administrators, taking on roles as CEO and Director of Business Development. From 2016 to 2021, Dietrich worked at Atlas Air, holding the roles of Principal Powerplant Engineer, Senior Powerplant Engineer, and Powerplant Engineer. Most recently, they joined Avelo Airlines in 2021 as Manager of Airframe and Powerplant Engineering and Principal Engineer.

Dietrich Drenkow attended the University of Michigan from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Dietrich then attended the University of Iowa from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Executive MBA.
