Lizz Barcenas has a diverse work experience in graphic design, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) design.

Lizz started their career as an intern at Steadfast Creative in 2015, where they gained practical experience in the field.

In 2016, they worked as a Designer at PLANbGROUP, and later joined The University of Texas at Arlington as a Graphic Designer. At UTA, they were responsible for creating marketing materials, collaborating with the administration for events, and initiating web redesign efforts for the Art + Art History Department's website.

In 2017, Lizz established their own creative agency, Lizzethe Barcenas Creative, where they worked as a Designer specializing in UX and UI design.

Lizz then worked as a UX & UI Designer Contractor at Touchtap - Mobile Development in 2018, redesigning the user interface for a luxury vehicle dealership mobile app and collaborating on the creation of an educational app for children.

Later in 2018, Lizz joined Dialexa as an Associate Product Designer, collaborating cross-functionally with teams to develop and launch products, creating documentation for the engineering team, and optimizing the UX/UI for Rosy, a product they worked on.

In 2019, they joined Neue Noir as a Visual Product Designer, responsible for the brand design lifecycle and leading UX/UI design through sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and mocks. Lizz facilitated design reviews and workshops with stakeholders.

Lastly, in 2021, Lizz joined Aven as a Visual Designer, contributing their design expertise to the company.

Throughout their career, Lizz has showcased their skills in design, user experience, and user interface, collaborating with teams, leading workshops, and delivering innovative concepts and final designs.

Lizz Barcenas obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from The University of Texas at Arlington. Lizz attended the university from 2012 to 2016.
