Robert Gaherty

Mr. Gaherty is the Executive Vice President and COO of Aventon Companies and President of the Aventon Construction companies. Prior to forming Aventon, Mr. Gaherty was a Principal/Partner with the Bainbridge Companies and President of Bainbridge Construction, LLC for over 13 years. During Mr. Gaherty’s tenure with the Bainbridge Companies, his responsibilities included the management and supervision of all Bainbridge construction and renovation entities/operation, which included the planning, development, and construction of over 9,000 multi-family units, with a construction cost value of over $1 billion, and the renovation of over 16,000 multi-family units in multiple US East Coast regions. Previous to joining the Bainbridge Companies, Mr. Gaherty was a Partner and President of Construction for Trammell Crow Residential in the state of Florida. During his tenure with TCR, which spanned over 19 years, Mr. Gaherty’s range of responsibilities included construction estimating through construction and project management for over 10,600 multi-family units with a total construction value in excess of $592 million. Mr. Gaherty was a member of the Board of Directors which had operational responsibility for the overall TCR organization. Mr. Gaherty graduated from the University of Phoenix with Honors. Mr. Gaherty is a Certified General Contractor in the state of Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Mr. Gaherty is also a Certified Green Professional as designated by the National Association of Home Builders.
