Michael Nicholson

Michael Nicholson has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Michael started their career in 1999 as a Senior Hospital Representative at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson. Michael then joined Biogen Idec as an Area Business Manager in 2004. In 2005, they moved to Millennium Pharmaceuticals, where they held various roles, including Oncology Sales Specialist and Regional Account Manager. In 2010, they joined Millennium Pharmaceuticals: The Takeda Oncology Company as a Federal Account Executive VHA/DoD. Michael continued working with Takeda Oncology when the companies merged, taking on roles such as Associate Director: Federal Markets, Director: Federal Accounts, and Director: Payer Segment Strategy. Since 2023, they have been with AVEO Oncology as the Senior Director of Federal Markets.

Michael Nicholson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Saint John's University - Collegeville, MN, from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Human Service Management from the University of Minnesota - College of Education - Human Development between 1995 and 1997.
