Buddy Rawley

Buddy Rawley has extensive experience in leadership and philanthropy, currently serving as the Special Assistant To The President for Philanthropy and Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Averett University since November 2010. Prior experience includes serving as a City Councilman for the City of Danville from 2002 to 2016, as well as holding the Director of Development position at Danville Community College from 2006 to 2010. Buddy Rawley previously worked at MSC, Inc. as the Manager of Customer Services and spent over 15 years at Dan River in various roles, culminating as Director of Apparel Customer Service. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University and participation in the Young Managers Program at the Darden School of the University of Virginia.
