H. Lynnette Lawson

H. Lynnette Lawson has extensive experience in event management and executive assistance, currently serving as the Director of Meetings and Events at Averett University since November 2016. Lawson's previous roles at Averett University include Director of Meetings and Events and Executive Assistant to the VP & CFO & COO, along with positions as Event Coordinator and Coordinator of Conferences, Camps, and Special Events. Prior experience includes serving as the Program Manager at the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce from August 2006 to November 2016. H. Lynnette Lawson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations from the University of Virginia, earned between 1984 and 1988.
