CHRO at Avery Dennison

As chief human resources officer for Avery Dennison, Deena oversees the development and execution of a global human resources strategy, in support of the company’s overall strategic direction. The Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications functions also report into Deena.

Under Deena’s leadership, her team is shaping our organizational culture and executing talent strategies that enable a positive employee experience, provide the company with a competitive advantage, and drive key business outcomes. This includes ensuring Avery Dennison has a diverse, inclusive, skilled and engaged workforce, a robust talent pipeline, and that the company is actively involved in the communities in which our employees and customers live and work.

Deena has more than 25 years of global human resources experience, 14 of which have been in Avery Dennison. During that time, she has served in leadership roles of increasing responsibility at the Corporate office as well as in two of the company’s largest businesses, most recently serving as vice president, global human resources, Label and Graphic Materials, based in The Netherlands.

Deena earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and master’s degree in counseling from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.
