Aftab Hossain

Aftab Hossain has a strong background in information security, compliance, and business analysis. Aftab is currently serving as the Director of Information Security and Compliance at Avēsis, LLC since March 2022. Before joining Avēsis, they worked at Guardian Life as a Cyber Security Engineer from March 2019 to March 2022 and as the Manager of Business Analysts from April 2016 to March 2019. Prior to Guardian Life, Aftab held the position of Business Analyst at Mutual of America from November 2011 to April 2016. Aftab also served as a Functional Business Analyst at AIG from June 2011 to September 2011. Aftab's earlier experiences include positions as a Senior Consultant for Thomson Reuters from September 2009 to March 2011, Senior Consultant for Fannie Mae from June 2009 to September 2009, System Analyst for TIAA-CREF from December 2008 to March 2009, Senior Consultant for MetLife from January 2007 to April 2008, Senior Consultant for Fannie Mae from October 2006 to December 2006, and Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for Citi from August 2005 to October 2006.

Aftab Hossain has a Master of Science degree in Internet technology in Cybersecurity from Pace University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Managerial Economics from The City University of New York. In addition, they also hold a certification as a Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc., which they obtained in June 2018.
