Silvia Torres Freire

Silvia Torres Freire, MBA, is an experienced Senior PMO Manager and Strategy & Planning Lead at AVEVA, responsible for supporting strategic planning and project controls for a 59 MEUR international business line. With a strong background in project management, Silvia has previously served as a Senior Management Consultant at Altair Management Consultants, where financial model analysis was conducted for Repsol YPF's Downstream Division. Silvia’s earlier roles include Project Manager at Adasa Sistemas, overseeing SCADA projects for water treatment facilities, and Project Leader at Schneider Electric, managing a large SCADA project in Venezuela. Educational qualifications include an MBA from IE Business School, a Master's in Railway Systems from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, and a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering from the same institution.
