Anna Ettorre

Anna Ettorre has a diverse work experience in the field of translational science, bioassays, and biomarkers. Anna currently holds the position of Director of Translational Science, Bioassays, and Biomarkers at AviadoBio since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Oxford Biomedica as the Director of the Translational Sciences Group from January 2022 to March 2023.

Anna also has experience in business development. Anna worked as a Business Development Executive at Metabolon, Inc. from January 2021 to January 2022.

Before transitioning into industry roles, Anna held various research positions. Anna worked as an Honorary Research Fellow at Imperial College London from March 2013 to February 2021. Prior to that, they were a Research Fellow at Imperial College London from December 2009 to February 2013, and a Research Associate from September 2007 to November 2009.

In their early career, Anna gained postdoctoral experience at UCB from March 2013 to February 2016, University of Southampton from July 2006 to August 2007, and ETH, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich from March 2004 to July 2006.

Anna's work experience also includes roles at Lonza as a Principal Scientist Bioassays from January 2020 to January 2021, 4D Pharma PLC as a Senior Immunologist Team Leader from May 2017 to December 2019, TUSK THERAPEUTICS LTD as a Senior Scientist from April 2016 to October 2016.

Throughout their career, Anna has developed expertise in translational science, bioassays, business development, immunology, and biomarkers.

Anna Ettorre has a strong educational background in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry and technology. Anna attended Università degli Studi di Siena from 1992 to 1998, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology. Continuing their education, they then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cosmetic Sciences and Technology/Applied Pharmaceutical Chemistry from 1998 to 2002 at the same university. In addition, in 2000, Anna also obtained a qualification to become a pharmacist from Università degli Studi di Siena.
