Antonio Beitia

Antonio Beitia is an experienced poultry nutritionist specializing in technical development at Aviagen since June 2020. As a co-founder at Agro-Panama International from September 2015 to March 2023, Antonio contributed to the establishment and growth of the company. Prior roles at the University of Arkansas included Graduate Research Assistant and Student Research Assistant, where responsibilities included conducting independent research and assisting with care and maintenance in poultry-related experiments. Antonio's experience extends to internships with Cobb-Vantress and Avicola Athenas S.A., providing comprehensive exposure to hatchery operations and poultry management. Antonio holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Poultry Nutrition, a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics, and a Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science, all from the University of Arkansas. Additionally, Antonio has an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Crowder College.
