Elizabeth Harper

Elizabeth Harper has a diverse work experience with a focus on research and program management. Elizabeth is currently working at AVIAN as the Sr. Director of Office of Naval Research Programs. Prior to this role, they were a Program Manager at the same company. Elizabeth also worked at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine as a Senior Scientific Program Manager. Before that, they were a Senior Researcher at Fors Marsh Group, where they provided research support and scientific expertise to the Department of Defense. Elizabeth has also worked at Grant Thornton LLP as a Senior Healthcare Analyst. Elizabeth'searlier experience includes roles as a Senior Research Associate and a Research Associate/Study Director at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. Elizabeth started their career as a Research Assistant/Intern at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and also worked as a Summer Research Intern at the National Science Foundation.

Elizabeth Harper earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Agnes Scott College, where they attended between 1998 and 2002. Prior to that, in 1997 and 1998, they took coursework at the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences while they were still enrolled in high school. Following their undergraduate studies, Elizabeth pursued a Master of Arts degree in psychology at American University from 2003 to 2005.
