Renato Covelo

Mr. Covelo has been with Avianca since December 2016. He holds a law degree from the Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas School of Law in São Paulo, Brazil. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Corporate and Economics Law from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and a MCs Degree in International Law from the University of São Paulo (USP). Prior to joining Avianca, he served as General Counsel of Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileras S.A. Mr. Covelo has worked with several law firms including the prestigious Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados law firm in São Paulo, as well as Fialdini & Graber in São Paulo and Bohmart & Sacks in New York. Mr. Covelo has also served in the legal departments of various organizations in Brazil.
