Matjaz Nartnik

Matjaz Nartnik has a diverse work experience in various roles within the telecommunications industry. Matjaz started their career as a Software Developer at Hermes Softlab in 1998 before moving on to Digital Development as an R&D Engineer. In 2000, they joined Daisy Technologies Inc. as an R&D Engineer, where they successfully implemented 3rd party VoIP software to their hardware platform. In 2002, they became an R&D Engineer at Konel d.o.o. In 2004, they joined VTZ d.o.o. as a Product Manager, where they managed the development of a new Home Automation & Security system. Matjaz then moved to Telsima Corporation as a Project Manager in 2007, implementing MS Project Server to improve their PMO. Since 2009, they have been working at Aviat Networks, starting as a Senior Program Manager and currently serving as the Director of the Project Management Office (PMO). At Aviat Networks, they have successfully managed the development and market introduction of new complex products in the telecommunication field, as well as improving the effectiveness and transparency of the Program Management Office. One of their notable achievements was initiating and implementing a new Requirement Management system to increase team agility, transparency, and effectiveness across several departments.

Matjaz Nartnik earned an Executive MBA degree from IEDC - Bled School of Management in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they attended the University of Ljubljana from 1997 to 2003, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Matjaz completed their high school education at Ledina from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
