Atefeh Alizadehbirjandi

Atefeh Alizadehbirjandi has a diverse range of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Atefeh is currently working at Avid Bioservices as the Associate Director of Operations and previously held the role of MSAT Manager at the same company. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior MSAT Engineer at Abzena. Atefeh also gained experience at Catalent Pharma Solutions as an MS&T Engineer III, where they provided support for the transfer of AstraZeneca's COVID vaccine manufacturing operations. Before that, they worked at AstraZeneca as an Associate Scientist, collaborating with manufacturing customers and development scientists for product advancement. Atefeh started their career as a Graduate Research Associate at The Ohio State University, where they focused on developing purification platforms for therapeutic proteins. Atefeh also worked as a Graduate Research Associate at Sharif University of Technology and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Isfahan University of Technology. Additionally, Atefeh gained engineering internship experience at the Biotechnology Lab of the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology.

Atefeh Alizadehbirjandi pursued their education in the field of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Atefeh earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Isfahan University of Technology in 2014. Atefeh then continued their studies at Sharif University of Technology, where they completed a Master's degree from 2012 to 2014. Atefeh further pursued a Master's degree at The Ohio State University from 2015 to 2019.
