Kimmo Juhala

Kimmo Juhala has a diverse range of work experiences in various companies. Kimmo started their career as a Summerworker at Metso in 2007 and returned to the company in the same role in 2008. Kimmo then worked as a Summer Trainee/Purchaser at Rautaruukki Oyj in 2010 and again in 2011. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Member of the Executive Board at the Student Union of Lappeenranta University of Technology, where they focused on educational affairs. Kimmo also briefly served as an Educational Secretary at the same organization. In 2012, they worked as a Controller at SAP, where they were responsible for financial management reporting and profitability analysis. Kimmo then joined Outotec as a Summer Trainee - Purchaser, where they handled purchasing tasks and maintained contact with suppliers. From 2014 to 2018, they served as a Business Controller at Leijona Group Oy, managing budgeting, forecasting, and conducting business analyses. Following that, they worked as a Business Controller at Vapo Oy from 2018 to 2022, where they were responsible for financial processes and part of the business unit management team. Currently, they are working at Avidly as the Head of Finance for the Hubspot Business Unit starting in February 2024.

Kimmo Juhala obtained a Master of Science degree in Industrial Management, specializing in Cost Management, from Lappeenranta University of Technology from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, in 2012, they attended Nihon University for a Japanese Language and Japan Studies Program.
