Hussein Moghnieh

Hussein Moghnieh, Ph.D., currently serves as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at AvidXchange, Inc. since October 2021. Previously, Hussein held various leadership roles including VP of Software Engineering and Director of Software Engineering at FastPay, an AvidXchange Company. Hussein's experience includes a position as a Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Morgan Stanley, and a Software Engineer Team Lead at the Ministère de la Justice - Gouvernement du Québec. Hussein earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering from McGill University, where the thesis focused on low-frequency electromagnetic devices and exploiting parallelism on multi-core processors. Other educational qualifications include a Master's degree from Concordia University and a Bachelor's degree from the American University of Beirut.
