Matt Sims

Matt Sims currently serves as the Director of Software Development at AvidXchange, Inc., a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Matt held several key positions at Benefitfocus from 2014 to January 2023, culminating in the role of Senior Director of Software Engineering, where Matt managed teams of over two hundred engineers and data analysts, focusing on the data exchange platform. Matt's career includes significant contributions to Engility Corporation, where responsibilities included project management for C4ISR Engineering Services, and earlier roles at Cambar Software, where Matt managed development projects and began as a software engineer. An alumnus of Charleston Southern University, Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems with a minor in Economics.
