Field Service Team Lead at Avidyne Corporation

Frank Utter has over 12 years of experience in the aviation and military industries. Frank began their career in 2008 as an Avionics Technician in the United States Air Force, where they were responsible for conducting and leading communications and navigations systems repair, software upgrading, and troubleshooting. Frank then moved on to become a Flying Crew Chief, where they were responsible for all aircraft repair and maintenance actions required for all systems. In addition, they operated in the international environment working closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful outcome of all operations. In this role, they also worked as a project manager and team member on various business opportunities to include quality assurance, training, and mission generation to ensure relationships with internal and external stakeholders were preserved.

In 2020, Frank Utter joined Avidyne as a Field Service Specialist, where they assisted in general aviation avionics troubleshooting both on site and remotely for Avidyne brand systems. Frank then moved on to become a Field Service Team Lead, where they managed multiple projects related to aviation and business to include design and installations, training, technical writing, and manufacturing costs utilizing agile, traditional, and hybrid program management practices. Frank also led avionics technician team and interfaced with wide range of employees to include engineering, finance, sales, and manufacturing. In this role, they tracked quality deficiencies and provided in depth analysis of issues to superiors and company departments.

Frank Utter is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Business Administration and Management, General at American Military University, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Prior to this, they completed a Project Management course at the Institute for Veterans and Military Families - IVMF in 2022. Frank also completed an Avionics Maintenance Technology/Technician course at the Community College of the Air Force between 2017 and 2019. In addition, Frank has obtained two certifications - an Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) from the National Center for Aerospace & Transportation Technologies in July 2020, and a General Radiotelephone Operator License - PG from the Federal Communications Commission in August 2018.
