Sima Tarokh

Sima Tarokh is an experienced professional in the field of instructional technology and computer science, currently serving as the Director of Instructional Technology and Adjunct Professor at Avila University since April 2015. In this role, Sima teaches various computer concepts courses and oversees the technical support and course design for distance learning programs while serving as the CANVAS LMS Administrator and Instructional Designer. Previous experience includes a position at the USDA National Information Technology Center from August 2014 to April 2015, and a decade at Webster University as an Information Technology Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed managing IT resources, web development, and providing educational technology consultations. Sima holds a Master of Arts in Information Technology Management from Webster University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and an Associate degree from Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods.
