Antonio Alcón Diz

Antonio Alcón Diz is a seasoned aerospace engineer and UAS operations expert with extensive experience in leading operational safety and maintenance for unmanned aerial systems. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer for UAS Operations and Safety at Avincis, responsibilities include obtaining operational authorizations from AESA and EASA, developing operational safety studies, and managing UAS operations teams. As a co-founder and Operations Manager at DroneDoing, Antonio focuses on training and regulatory compliance for specific operational categories. Previous roles include UAS Operations and Safety Manager at Babcock International Group, where significant contributions involved the certification and management of UAS operations, and a role as a systems engineer at Indra, working on navigation software for ATM Europe.
