Ryan Webb has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Ryan started their career as a Certified Flight Instructor in 2003, where they provided individualized training programs and mentored multiple students in flight training. In 2008, Ryan joined the Illinois Army National Guard, initially serving as an Airframe Structural Repairer and UH60 Helicopter/UAS Technical Inspector. During this time, they directed a Recruitment and Retention program and supervised maintenance procedures. Ryan also worked as a UAS Maintenance Manager, overseeing production control, quality assurance, and maintenance workflow. Ryan performed preventative maintenance on aircraft, trucks, and generators. Additionally, Ryan had a role as an Airframe Structural Repairer, where they managed workflow in the sheet metal shop and led training programs. In 2019, Ryan joined Avion Solutions, Inc. as a UAS Analyst, serving as a subject matter expert for logistical support, evaluating military research, and providing guidance to team members. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of Fixed Wing Operator / Analyst at the same company.
Ryan Webb attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1998 to 2003. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management and an Associates of Applied Science degree in Aviation Flight. In addition to their formal education, Ryan also obtained a certification as an MLT I from the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) in November 2021.
