Mike Quirke has over eight years of work experience in the financial industry. Mike began their career at TD as a Customer Service Representative and later worked as a Financial Services Representative and a Business Development Associate. In 2015, they joined Qtrade Financial Group as the Manager of Online Brokerage, Sales & Support and subsequently held roles as the Director of Sales, Online Brokerage & Digital Advice (BC) and the National Director of Sales, Service and Support, Digital Advice. Since 2018, Mike has been working at Aviso Wealth, where they have held various positions including Director of National Sales, Online Brokerage & Digital Wealth, Director of National Accounts, Online Brokerage & Digital Wealth, and currently serves as the Director of National Accounts & Business Development, Online Brokerage & Digital Wealth. In their roles, Mike has been responsible for outside sales, relationship management, business development for key national accounts, and the implementation of Qtrade's Publisher Partner Program.

Mike Quirke has a diverse education history in the field of economics, finance, and marketing. Mike obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of British Columbia in 2011. Additionally, they pursued various certifications and professional designations. Mike completed the Canadian Securities Institute program, earning the Certified Investment Manager (CIM) designation, as well as certificates in Derivative Market Strategies and Advanced Investment Advice. Mike also acquired the Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) designation from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in 2020. In terms of marketing, Mike completed courses in SEO and content marketing principles from Udemy and Semrush Academy respectively. Mike has further expanded their knowledge and skills through various certification programs offered by LinkedIn, focusing on topics such as generative AI for business leaders, keyword strategy, coaching skills, Google Universal Analytics, link building, digital marketing foundations, leading and motivating people with different personalities, and competitive analysis. Mike has also obtained an Investment Representative with Options certification from the IIROC (Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada).
