Sheldon Tse

Sheldon Tse has held various roles throughout their work experience. Sheldon started their career at TELUS, where they worked as a Financial Analyst and Internal Auditor in the areas of Finance Operations and Risk Management. After this, they worked at VANOC as a Manager and later as Risk Management Director. Sheldon then joined The University of British Columbia as the Director of Enterprise Risk Management and Continuity Planning. Following this, they worked at Westminster Savings Credit Union as the Director of Risk, Audit, and Compliance. Most recently, Sheldon has served as the VP of Internal Audit & Risk at Aviso Wealth.

Sheldon Tse has a BCom (Hons) in Accounting Co-op from The University of British Columbia. In 2019, they completed the In-Depth Brokers and Investment Dealers Course offered by Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Sheldon also holds a Risk Management Certificate from the University of Toronto, obtained from 2014 to 2016, and an MBA in Executive Master of Business Administration from Athabasca University, earned from 2008 to 2011. Sheldon has a Graduate Diploma of Management (GDM) from Athabasca University obtained in 2008-2009, and a MCPM (Master Certificate in Project Management) from Schulich School of Business - York University, completed in 2006-2007. Sheldon has completed the Strategic Leadership Program in Accounting offered by Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2001 to 2003. Sheldon has additional certifications including Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Canadian Risk Management (CRM), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant (CPA, CMA).
