France Desharnais

France Desharnais is the current director at Avison Young. France has held various positions in business development over the course of their career, spanning more than 20 years. This includes executive positions at EY, Société de télédiffusion du Québec, Siebel, and CGI. In 1988, they began their career at Mouvement Desjardins as a regional director and administrator. During their time there, they were responsible for finance and marketing, financing businesses, work operations and organization, human resources, and transforming financial institutions in difficulty. France also helped found new financial institutions and develop financing strategies for start-ups. Throughout their career, France has been instrumental in developing businesses in a variety of sectors, including financial institutions, real estate, aerospace, consumer products, and manufacturing.

France Desharnais has a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from Université de Sherbrooke and an MBA in finance and financial management services from HEC Montréal. France is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA).
