Brian Vandenburg

Brian Vandenburg is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience at Avista since January 2007. Currently serving as the Manager of Construction Delivery, Vandenburg oversees major construction projects in Energy Delivery and Energy Resources, leading a diverse team of project managers and coordinators. Previous roles include Manager of Engineering Projects, where Vandenburg focused on substation and transmission projects, and Enterprise Asset Management Manager, leading strategic initiatives. Vandenburg’s extensive project management background includes overseeing significant programs, managing large utility projects, and serving as the lead design engineer for hydroelectric projects. Vandenburg holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Idaho.
