Mark Gustafson

Mark Gustafson serves as the President of Avista Development, Inc., a strategic investment subsidiary of Avista since October 2012. Gustafson has held various leadership roles within Avista, focusing on innovation, strategy, and corporate venture capital aimed at the Utility of the Future. In addition to the current position at Avista, Gustafson is an active board member and observer for multiple companies, including Edo, ConnectDER, and Open Energy Solutions, and also serves as a managing partner at Mind to Market, a pre-seed venture fund and accelerator. Gustafson holds a Master of Science in Data Science with a specialization in Technology Entrepreneurship from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Washington.
