Sena Kwawu

Sena Kwawu is the Senior Vice President, Operations at Avista. Sena has held this position since August of 2022. Prior to their current role, they were with Frontdoor, Inc as their SVP, Operations from January 2020 to August of 2022. There, they were responsible for operational excellence across service operations and contractor relations. Sena also scaled operations to support growth and designed repeatable process, metrics and systems to help the company better serve their customers. In addition, they had P&L responsibility for American Home Shield ProConnect.

Before their time at Frontdoor, Inc., Sena was the Managing Director at Seattle Angel Conference from June 2019 to January 2020. Prior to that, they were with Thamesford Associates, LLC as their svp, Finance from December 2015 to May 2019. Before Thamesford Associates, LLC, they were with Starbucks as their SVP, Finance from April 2011 to November 2015. Before Starbucks, they were with State Street as their SVP, Global Sourcing & Finance Shared Services from July 2004 to April 2011.

Sena Kwawu has a MBA in Finance & Strategy from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a BBA in Business Administration and Management, General from The George Washington University School of Business. Sena also has a certification from GE in Certified Master Black Belt (MBB).
