Tom Puype

Tom Puype started their work experience in 2009 as a Freelance Audio Engineer while being self-employed. Tom then worked as a Bartender at RITS Cafe from an unknown duration until 2015. In 2015, they joined SBS Belgium as a Video Editor for a few months before moving to TVBastards where they held the role of Video Editor from October 2015 to May 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Post Production Supervisor and IT Generalist at Shelter/Toreador for a few months. From April 2019 to September 2020, they worked as a Network Support Engineer/ Second Line at Hapbit®. Currently, since June 2021, Tom Puype is employed as a Network Project Engineer at Avit.

Tom Puype obtained a Bachelor's degree in "Beeld, geluid, montage - toespitsing montage" from Erasmushogeschool Brussel, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their high school education in "Podiumtechnieken" at Stedelijk Instituut voor Handel en Ambachten in 2010. In 2018 and 2019, they pursued a Credit Contract at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in the field of "Information Management & Security."

Tom Puype has also earned several certifications. In 2022, they obtained the CMNA certification from Cisco Meraki, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, and the [PCAP-31-03] PCAP – Certified Associate in Python Programming certification from the Python Institute. In 2022, they also obtained the [PCEP-30-02] PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer certification from the Python Institute. In 2021, Tom Puype acquired the CCNA, Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate, and Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core certifications from Cisco. Furthermore, in 2022, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP Enterprise) and Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation certifications. Lastly, Tom Puype is scheduled to complete the Cisco Certified DevNet Associate certification in 2023.
