Katie Bush

Katie Bush, PhD has extensive work experience in the scientific and medical affairs field. Katie is currently working at AVITA Medical, where they hold the role of Senior Vice President of Scientific and Medical Affairs. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Scientific and Medical Affairs at AVITA Medical from 2019 to 2021 and as the Vice President of Medical Affairs from 2018 to 2019. Before joining AVITA Medical, Katie worked at Integra LifeSciences as a Senior Manager and Manager of Global Medical Affairs for Tissue Technologies from 2015 to 2017. Katie also has experience at TEI Medical Inc. as a Principal Scientist in Clinical Sciences and Research from 2014 to 2015, and at TEI Biosciences Inc. as a Scientist in Product Sciences from 2011 to 2013. Furthermore, Katie has worked at Connective Orthopaedics as a Scientist in Materials R&D from 2008 to 2011. Katie began their career as a Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2003, conducting research in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. Katie also gained experience as a Laboratory Tech and intern at the University of Rochester in 2002.

Katie Bush, PhD obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 2003. Katie then pursued their doctoral studies in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute & University of Massachusetts Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, earning their PhD in 2009.
