Filiberto Castro

Filiberto Castro is a prominent entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as the Founder and Co-CEO of Aviva, a pioneering startup in Mexico City aimed at transforming unsecured credit access for low-income individuals, Castro has previously held significant roles at Konfio as Chief Growth Officer and VP of Data Science and Marketing. At Scotiabank, positions included VP of Consumer Lending and Bancassurance, as well as Retail Risk Head, focusing on credit risk management. Earlier in his career, Castro contributed to TransUnion as a board member and worked at Citigroup as a Senior Credit Officer. Filiberto Castro holds an MBA from UQAM and is currently pursuing further education in Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance at Harvard Business School.
