Abigael Lynch

Abigael Lynch is a seasoned communications professional with diverse experience in IT and media. Currently serving as a Sr. IT Communications Specialist at Aviva Canada since August 2023, Abigael leads the development of communications for the Information Technology department, including newsletters and townhalls. Prior roles include Social Media and Communications Coordinator at GS1 Canada, where Abigael managed social media accounts and facilitated internal stakeholder meetings, and Content Coordinator for Best Version Media, creating feature content for community magazines. Additional experience includes internships at the National Post and Ottawa Magazine, contributing to news and storytelling efforts. Abigael holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Human Rights and Social Justice from Carleton University and has completed courses in insurance and cyber risk from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
