Michael McGrath is an experienced insurance professional currently serving as a Senior Underwriter for both High Net Worth clients and Connex Digital at Aviva Canada since April 2017. Michael has a strong background in underwriting operations, having previously worked with Aviva’s Central Technical Unit and in post-claim underwriting analysis. In addition to contributions in traditional insurance roles, Michael is the Owner and Lead Disemvoweller of DXWN WXTH VXWXLS, a design studio specializing in original artwork and handicrafts. Michael's earlier experience spans roles in commercial service and underwriting coordination, along with a foundation in customer experience and marketing management at Indigo. Education includes ongoing studies toward a CIP designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada and attendance at Georgian College.
