Kunal Goray

Kunal Goray is an experienced professional in the field of power electronics and electrical engineering, currently serving as the Department Manager of Power Electronics Hardware at AVL Software and Functions GmbH since March 2018. Prior to this role, Kunal held various managerial positions at GE Global Research from December 2001 to February 2018, including Lab Manager for Electric Power and Electric Drivetrain Laboratory, where responsibilities included leading R&D teams focused on electrical machines, power systems, and drive technology across multiple sectors such as wind energy and aviation. Kunal's earlier career includes a role as Lead Engineer at Tata Motors and positions involving optical and laser-based sensing technologies. Kunal holds a Master's degree in Electronics Reliability from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from COEP, Pune.
