Thomas O'Shaughnessy

Thomas O'Shaughnessy has a strong background in program operations and retirement planning. Thomas worked as the Director of Program Operation- Association Retirement Plan at AVMA PLIT and AVMA LIFE, where they oversaw the development and implementation of retirement programs for veterinarians. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director Corporate Benefits Group at Marcum Financial Services LLC and as the Managing Director at BKD Wealth Advisors. Thomas also held leadership positions at Wolf & Company LLP, Hunter Benefits Consulting Group, Inc., John Hancock Retirement Services, State Street Research, and Scudder Investments. Overall, Thomas O'Shaughnessy has extensive experience in the financial industry with a focus on retirement planning and program management.

Thomas O'Shaughnessy started their education in 1988 and completed it in 1992 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Following that, they pursued further education from 2016 to 2018 at the College for Financial Planning, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Personal Financial Planning.
