William Etzkorn

William Etzkorn is a seasoned Senior Chemical Engineer at MATRIC, with over a decade of experience in chemical process research and green chemistry since April 2010. Prior to this role, William served as an R&D Leader at The Dow Chemical Company, overseeing the Acrylic Acid and Acrylates group. William also held significant positions at Union Carbide Corp from 1987 to 2001, including R&D Group Leader and Technology Manager, where responsibilities included strategic technology development in specialty chemicals and customer technology support. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Scientist/Senior-Advanced Engineer at Union Carbide Corporation from 1981 to 1987, focusing on process improvement and new product development. William holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, completed in 1981 and 1979, respectively.
