Dianne Kibbey

Dianne Kibbey is a seasoned professional in community and social media strategy with extensive experience in the electronics and eCommerce sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Web and Community Innovation at Avnet since October 2023, Kibbey has also been a Board Member at SocialMedia.org since February 2013, representing social media leaders from major brands. Previously, Kibbey held the position of Global Head of Community and Social Media at Farnell Global, from 2009 to November 2023, where leadership was provided for online community strategy and social media marketing. Dianne's earlier roles at Newark Electronics, spanning from 1999 to 2009, included Director of eCommerce and Director of eCommerce Business Development, where significant advancements in online business strategies were made. Dianne holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Business from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
