Maca Baigorria (she/her)

Maca Baigorria has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Structural and Payload Design Engineer at Boeing in 2015. In 2016, they were an Intern at Flashpoint at Georgia Tech and an Instructor at Duke University Talent Identification Program. Maca then joined IBM in 2017 as a Design Consultant. In 2018, they joined PwC as an Associate Creative Director and Senior User Experience Designer. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Founder and Mentor at Avocademy.

Maca Baigorria obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in 2015. Maca then returned to the University of Florida to pursue a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Solid Mechanics, Design and Manufacturing, which they completed in 2017. Also in 2017, they earned a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida. In addition, Maca has obtained various certifications, including Salesforce Platform Developer 1 (October 2017), IBM Design Thinking Practitioner (August 2017), iOS Design Foundation (September 2017), and Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist (Scaled Agile, Inc.).
