Katie Markov has a wealth of work experience. Katie began their career in 2005 as a Principal at The Parthenon Group, a leading global management consulting firm, where they assisted clients in the private equity practice and general consulting practice. In 2008, they attended Stanford Graduate School of Business, where they earned their MBA. In 2009, they worked as a Summer Associate in Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, performing M&A, leveraged buyout, and recapitalization analyses. In 2010, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Silver Spring Networks. In 2011, they became a Senior Product Manager at SCIenergy, Inc., leading a team from initial concept to production of a SaaS based site providing energy related data and tools. In 2012, they founded and became the CEO of MoveMeFit, a digital at home fitness experience that was featured by Apple in the App Store. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as Vice President Operations at Gametime United. In 2018, they became an Operator Network at January Ventures, where they invested early and opened doors for the visionary founders of the future. Finally, in 2019, they took on the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Vice President Operations at Avochato.

Katie Markov obtained their MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2010. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Economics and Art Katie'story from Williams College.
