Anna Killeen

VP Technical at Avolon

Anna Killeen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anna began their career as a Student Intern at Airbus in 2010 before moving on to the University of Limerick, where they worked as an Intern in 2011. At the university, Anna developed a new mechanical/adhesive hybrid joint for joining composite coupons, which gained recognition at a European conference and is currently being further studied.

Anna then joined British Airways in 2012 as an Engineering Graduate, where they rotated through different critical technical areas and gained a broad understanding of the business. Anna contributed to supporting the maintenance plan for the BA Long Haul Boeing fleet and assisted in compiling maintenance documents and corresponding with Boeing.

In 2014, Anna joined Santos Dumont as a Technical Project Manager, working in the CAI department. Their responsibilities included conducting technical, commercial, and financial analysis of aircraft on behalf of investors, airlines, and leasing companies. Anna also supported aircraft acquisitions, sales, and marketing campaigns.

Since 2016, Anna has been working at Avolon, initially as an Asset Manager before progressing to the role of Senior Asset Manager. Currently, they hold the position of VP Technical. Specific details about their roles at Avolon are not provided.

Anna Killeen attended Christ King Girls' Secondary School from 2002 to 2008. Anna then went on to study at the University of Limerick from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering degree. In 2019, they enrolled at Kingstown College and completed an Advanced Diploma in Personal Leadership & Executive Coaching in 2020.
