Fyodor Minakov

Fyodor Minakov has a decade of professional experience in the technology industry. In 2010, they began their career in wealth management at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. In 2011, they co-founded Teach Columbia Tutoring. In 2012, they worked as a Front End Developer at Epickk, Inc., developing an ASP.NET MVC 4 social gifting application in C# and JavaScript. In 2013, they worked as an Application Developer at Enstoa, Inc., where they lead the development of client and internal web and console apps built using ASP.Net C# + JavaScript. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at DemystData. In 2015, they co-founded Wuwei Inc., designing and developing the world's first public, longitudinal health data sharing and analytics platform for GI disorders. In 2018, they worked as a Lead Engineer at Venture Smarter. In 2019, they worked as a Lead Developer at BCG Digital Ventures. In 2020, they worked as an SDE Lead at Microsoft. Currently, they are a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer - NLP at Avoma, where they are developing deep frameworks for natural language understanding and AI-generated content, as well as an advanced topic model and methods for generating high quality AI notes.

Fyodor Minakov graduated from Columbia University in 2010 with a B.A in European History. Fyodor then pursued graduate coursework in Computer Science at New York University. Fyodor also completed a Computer Science degree at Harvard Extension School with a focus on Data Science.
